Everything You Need to Know About the Wholeness Method
What is Wholeness Method?
Wholeness Method focuses on the interconnectedness of the mind, body and spirit to improve overall health and well-being. It includes techniques such as mindfulness, stress reduction, and physical activities that promote mental and emotional health, allowing you to approach root-cause healing more closely.
Do I need previous experience?
No, beginners are welcome! Our program is designed to be accessible to individuals at all levels of experience.
Who can benefit from Wholeness Method?
Anyone seeking to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being can benefit. It’s especially supportive for people who feel stuck in their healing, struggling to calm their nervous system and break free from a constant fight-or-flight state. Whether you’re dealing with stress, chronic pain, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, or simply want a healthier lifestyle, the Wholeness Method helps those who feel trapped, burned out, or unhappy find a path forward.

Who facilitates the Wholeness Method Cohorts?
The Wholeness Method is both self-led and practitioner-supported. Each week you’ll watch videos, explore readings, and work through discussions at your own pace. At the end of the week, we come together on a live call to have discussions. All calls are recorded and include notes and resources for easy reference.
You’ll also have access to live calls with our practitioners for additional support and guidance.
The program was created by licensed clinical therapists, functional medicine practitioners, holistic nutritionists and certified trauma practitioners. Calls are led by experienced practitioners who bring a wide range of expertise, including functional medicine, nutritional therapy, trauma-sensitive mind-body work (including HeartMath, DNRS, and meditation), environmental illness support, and holistic health practices. We are all meat-based practitioners who recognize the importance of healthy fats and protein as a foundation for wellness.
How do I stay involved with the community after the program ends?
We encourage ongoing involvement! After 3 months, you can continue to be part of the Wholeness Method Community for a monthly fee, which includes community support, group calls, live calls, and ongoing resource updates.
If you stick with the initial purchase, you will still have access to the Wholeness Method (without the group access) for one year.
How much time do I need to commit to the program each week?
While it can vary, we generally recommend dedicating a few hours each week to engage fully with all aspects of the program. The more you put in, the more you will gain from the Wholeness Method.
How can I maximize the benefits of the program?
Consistent participation and practice are key. Try to engage regularly with the program materials and activities, and apply the techniques you learn in your daily life. Also, actively participating in community discussions can enhance your experience.
Consider signing up for an accountability partner in our Wholeness Method community.
Can this program replace my current therapy or medication?
This program is designed to complement, not replace, existing medical treatments. We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your current treatment plan, especially with medications.
How do I know if the program is working for me?
You may notice changes in your stress levels, mood, sleep quality, or overall sense of well-being. Results can vary and may take time, so we encourage patience and most importantly, consistency.
What should I do if I miss a live session?
We understand that schedules can be busy, or you may just not feel well. All live sessions are recorded, and you can find the recordings in the program. Be sure to catch up so you can to stay on track with the program.
Can I repeat exercises or sessions if I find them particularly helpful?
Absolutely! We encourage you to revisit and repeat any sections, exercises, and activities that you find beneficial. Repetition can often deepen understanding and effectiveness. We know everyone is different and we purposely shared different tools and resources in the Wholeness Method so you can find your own personalized toolkit.
What should I do if I find certain exercises challenging?
Always listen to your body and do what feels right for you. We encourage you to reach out to our practitioners for modifications or alternative exercises.
It’s normal to face challenges when learning new techniques. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our practitioners for guidance or alternative methods by joining the live calls. Remember, personalization is key, and it’s important to find what works best for you.
Is there additional reading or resources I can access to supplement the program?
Yes, we have free ebooks and videos, and we also have a curated list of recommended books, articles, and websites, in the Resource section of the program, that can complement your learning.
Is Wholeness Method faith-based or secular?
Judy Cho, the Founder of Wholeness Method, is a devout Christian and may share elements of biblical wisdom. However, the program itself is grounded in evidence-based research and clinical practice. All participants, regardless of faith background, are welcome. The focus is on practical, science-backed tools that support healing at the root.
Can teens or young adults participate in the program?
Yes. Some of the content may be challenging for teens to process alone, so we encourage parents, therapists or a trusted and safe adult to stay involved. Our youngest participant was 16, and when supported by family, teens and young adults can gain valuable tools for resilience and regulation. We do plan on releasing a children’s Wholeness Method program in the future.
Do you offer support for caregivers or family members of participants?
Yes. While we don’t always recommend that close family members join the same cohort, as family dynamics can sometimes be a source of pain, caregivers and family members are welcome to participate in separate cohorts. This way, they can learn the same tools and language of healing while supporting each other’s growth.
Do you offer one-on-one sessions?
Yes, our comprehensive program includes private sessions. Judy Cho, founder of the Wholeness Method also runs a functional medicine practice, and one-on-one care is available on a case-by-case basis. If you’d like to explore this, please reach out to our support team.
Are there cultural or language considerations in the program?
Yes. We’ve welcomed participants from around the world. The only requirement is that participants are comfortable speaking and understanding English, as all sessions and materials are in English.
Does the program focus only on mental health, or does it also support physical symptoms?
The Wholeness Method addresses both. While talk therapy can be helpful, we believe real change requires action and daily practice. That’s why the program includes tactical tools for nervous system regulation, brain retraining, and lifestyle tools. We also dedicate a section to somatic exercises, so even when the mind feels stuck, the body can move into a rest-and-digest state to support healing. Our founder’s own healing journey, from major depression and an eating disorder, shaped the program, weaving together mental and physical health practices. We believe that when the mind is not well, the body cannot heal, and vice versa.
Can couples or family members go through the program together?
Yes. Couples or family members may join, though we sometimes suggest they participate in separate cohorts. This gives each person space to process independently, while still allowing them to learn the same tools and share a common healing language.
What ongoing support is available after I complete my program access?
Many participants find the program so valuable that they choose to repeat it. Each cohort offers new perspectives, and members often gain fresh insights the second time through. If you’d like to continue with a future cohort, contact support, and we’ll help you explore your options.
How does Wholeness Method approach sensitive topics like trauma without re-triggering participants?
We create a safe and respectful space during calls. Boundaries are set around discussions to avoid going into unnecessary detail. Members are encouraged to share authentically without overexposure. The focus is on learning tools, practicing regulation, and moving forward, so you gain strength rather than being re-triggered.
What if I feel overwhelmed?
That’s normal, and we encourage you to go at your own pace. Even if you only show up for the live calls, you will gain valuable insights and tools. All sessions are recorded, and written materials are available so you can revisit them when you’re ready. Remember, every step forward, no matter how small, is still a step toward wholeness.
Are results guaranteed?
No program can guarantee results, and Wholeness Method is no exception. However, participant surveys and testimonials consistently reflect powerful outcomes and meaningful change. You can read their stories.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds follow the program’s formal policy, which outlines eligibility, timelines, and required steps. Review the full policy here.
